He gives Ra'Nell the money for the weed,which he passes on to Heather and,as Ra'Nell,Gem and Gem's girlfriend Chantelle go into business with Vincent,Dushane,having got Raikes out of the way,is now the kingpin of the estate's drug-peddling industry, the Top Boy. Though Kamale does not turn up to Shaun's funeral a chance sighting leads Dushane and his gang to their rival where,after claiming another victim,they locate the missing drugs at a tyre depot,where Lee Greene just happens to be so they shoot him too but now a full-scale gang war erupts as Kamale's associates seek revenge. Thirteen-year-old Ra'Nell watches from his high rise balcony on the Summerhouse estate as local drug pushers Dushane and Sully are robbed by of their wares by rivals the London Fields Gang. When Ra'Nell's single parent Lisa collapses in the street and is admitted to hospital to cure her own drug addiction her friend and case-worker Leon tells Ra'Nell he will not go into care providing he behaves and the boy moves in with his friend Gem and his heavily-pregnant mother Heather. Dushane and Sully work their way up the drug hierarchy,recruiting Gem as a peddler,stabbing one rival with secateurs and chopping off another's fingers. However the London Fields Group retaliate,robbing them again and leaving them in debt to and at the mercy of their boss,drugs lord Bobby Raikes. Henry proposes that all the evictees live in his house as his 'collective' and, backed by Cliff and Freddie, bluffs his way into getting his old job back. The group is also able to demolish Coltrane's statement that Lance was his first homosexual encounter, leading to a conviction for murder. Things turn sour when work colleague Veronica turns up, blaming Henry for Lance's death and eventually all the members of the collective move into their own accommodation. Last to leave is Freddie, after he has accused Henry of treating him like Lance, wanting him around but scared to have sex with him. Aaron Scobie, who sold Taylor drugs, is arrested but denies knowledge of her disappearance and refers Stone to a girl Taylor met through the site called Leanne.
